Alert! That FREE Item
With Shipping Charges Due
Don't Pay By Credit Card

EVERYONE who uses Credit Cards needs this information.

      The Bottom Line First!

Once you "AUTHORIZE" a Credit Card payment, be it ever-so-$$-small,
payable to the WRONG people - YOU have opened the door for unethical
"revolving" service charges. ( Note: Your credit card fraud protection will
      NOT stop "revolving" charges.)

We are not here to discuss the credit card laws or to identify any specific
offenders. Our purpose is to help you "recognize" a revolving charge scheme
and to "avoid" being taken in.

      Recognize...."Buyer Beware!"
Avoid.........."There's A Sucker Born Every Minute!"

My Story Starts With An Email!

The email offered a FREE item** , that I was interested in. Although the item
was free, there was a small shipping charge.

Since the shipping expense was nominal, I placed an order and paid by
CREDIT CARD. We will call the seller "Bill," like in the old saying, "as phony
      as a
"Three $Dollar Bill," because these phonies want your money!

**  This symbol denotes changed or incomplete information, on 1) the FREE item
description, 2) the type of service provided and 3) the amount of monthly
"revolving" charge - so "Bill" is not identified and can't claim "malicious content."

It turns out that the shipping charge was really just a ploy to get my credit card
AUTHORIZATION - because "Bill" wants $50.00
** PER MONTH in "revolving"
service charges. For how long? until you wise up.

Possession Is 9/10ths Of The Law, And "Bill" Got $100 Of MY Money!

Fast forward to the month after the "authorized" shipping charge appeared on
my credit card statement. Behold, I found an unexpected charge from "Bill"
for $50.00. When I called my credit card company, I was told that "Bill" had
already charged an "additional" $50.00 for the NEXT month.

WOW, this "revolving charge thing" could get to be expensive!

Here is what I found out from my credit card company:

When I "AUTHORIZED" the payment for the nominal shipping charge, I opened
the door for additional credit card billings from "Bill." I have the right to "dispute"
the charges (but there are no guarantees.)

Furthermore, once the dispute process is initiated, the seller "Bill" might
AGREE that there would be no additional charges, but the credit card company
      could NOT BLOCK future charges.

Finally, changing my credit card number would NOT keep "Bill" from getting
my money!"Revolving" charges are not stopped by changing the card numbers
      on your existing account.

The Above Facts Let "Bill" and his buddies Operate, by allowing them to take
Your money, "WITHOUT your PRIOR knowledge." AND, FINDING OUT
      LATER IS TOO LATE!

      Back To My Story!

"Bill" maintains that I had agreed to the revolving monthly service charge,
of $50.00 - by the following actions:

      1) By Ordering the item.
      2) By logging into their website, with the password provided,
          AFTER the order was placed.
      3) By NOT canceling the "Free Trial Period."

"Bill" dismisses the FACT that I did NOT complete the enrollment
      application, found on their website.

My opinion is that no "Free Trial Period" existed, since I did NOT
complete the enrollment application. Yes, I did order the free item,
and, yes, I did log into their website.

The ONE sure fact: "Ole Three $Dollar Bill" Got $100 Of MY Money!
just by reaching out and taking it.

YOU and I and "Bill" ALL know that from a practical standpoint I can't spend
much time trying to recover $100. And, that's what "Bill" is counting on.

One last thing, "Bill's" website does offer a "service" ** for the "revolving"
monthly charge. And, since there is a service provided, the $50.00 service
charge IS LEGAL. And, of course, the service charge appears one time,
in the several paragraphs of "fine print," on "Bill's" website.

Should you meet up with "Bill" or one of his friends, there is a process for legal
recovery, if they continue to charge you. Your credit card company has the details.

To sum up - anytime a small initial payment is required, consider WHAT
you are buying, and IF a continuing "service" might possibly be involved.
Remember, if you give "Bill" etc. your credit card information, they "Gotcha!"

With the information provided here, YOU should know enough
to be on the lookout for a "revolving" credit card scheme.

AND, THAT IS THE WHOLE POINT.
